i was taken aback 

surprised and confused

that i was liked

some where in this world

by such a beautiful being

i spent so long in the dark depths of subdiffusion

i was ready to explode to end it all

i begin to think i meant noting to anyone

after all my attempts of getting some to feel for me

it was looking like i was last in the pack

and i’d never get any one feeling for me at all

then completely out of the blue

at 6am i got told that i was liked

i jumped around like crazy

it lifted me from this place

that i’ve been for far too long

even though i could never meet her

it gave me hope

made me feel good inside

it stopped me falling of the cliff inside me,

it gave me hope to keep on trying

im completely on top of the world

i thank her for that

for give me hope

and letting me carry on

i was taken aback
